Terry Sites, M.D. is a three-time board certified orthopedic surgeon. He spent his childhood in Little Rock and played basketball for Missouri State University before graduating at the top of his class from the University of Missouri School of Medicine. He completed orthopaedic residency at the University of California – Davis in 1990. He is one of the most highly-trained orthopedic surgeons in the United States having completed two fellowships: the first in orthopedic biomechanical research at the University of California – San Diego and the second in orthopaedic sports medicine at Baylor College of Medicine.
He has 25 years of experience in orthopedics, including academic research and private practice. His experience includes working with the Houston Astros, Sacramento Kings, Houston Oilers, University of Houston Cougars, and more recently as a team orthopedist for the University of Arkansas Razorbacks. He has a long-standing history of success exemplified by his multiple awards as One of America’s Top Orthopedic Surgeons. He has returned many patients, young and senior, athletes and fans, back to the field of life.
Areas of expertise include arthroscopy, joint replacement, fracture care, cartilage restoration, ACL reconstruction, labral repair and rotator cuff repair.
He is a founding member of Advanced Orthopedic Specialists and chief of orthopaedic surgery at Physicians Specialty Hospital.
Dr. Sites enjoys gardening and is an international fly fisherman traveling the globe to catch exotic species. He has been married to Odulia for 27 years and has four sons: Trevor, Taylor, Jaret and Ryan.
