In these trying times, we at Advanced Orthopaedic Specialists, with the rest of the nation are concerned
for our patients, employees and communities. In conjunction with the rest of the nation we are seeking
to slow the spread of COVID-19; while still being able to provide the highest quality care for our patients
In doing so, we kindly ask that if you have any of the following symptoms; fever, cough, runny nose,
general weakness or fatigue, or flu like symptoms or have been around anyone with these symptoms to
reschedule your appointment. If you have an Urgent need and have had these symptoms please call and
notify our office, so that we can set up a private appointment where we can continue to meet your
needs without placing others at risk. We ask that if you have traveled outside of the U.S. within 14 days
prior to your appointment to call and reschedule. We ask that if you or a family member are part of a
vulnerable population or immunocompromised that you call and discuss appointment needs over the
phone first. We ask that your limit additional visitors and will limit persons in the exam room to the
patient and one additional family member.
Our Providers are following the most up-to-date research as it pertains to COVID-19 and making
adjustments as necessary as new research is available. In accordance with this scientific evidence we
have set forth the following guidelines for all staff members. We will be limiting person-to-person
contact (no shaking hands), all employees will continue to wash hands between patients, exam rooms
are cleaned with appropriate disinfectants between each patient, front lobby counters/doors are
cleaned intermittently throughout the day and bathrooms are cleaned intermittently throughout the
day. We have instructed all staff members to wipe down pens that are used between patients and you
are welcome to bring your own.
We thank you for allowing us to continue to provide you with the highest quality orthopaedic care. We
will continue to make adjustments, as new research is available, to keep you, our employees, and the
community safe during this time.
