Casey Wagner, M.D.

Dr. Wagner received his undergraduate degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and is a graduate of St. George's School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Overlook Family Medicine associated with Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he received research awards and was Chief Resident. Prior to joining AOS in 2016, he finished his sports medicine fellowship at Atlantic Sports Health in New Jersey.

He holds specialty certificates of added qualifications as a sports medicine physician, is certified by the Titleist Performance Institute in golf medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine in Arkansas.

Professional Experience

Currently, Dr. Wagner is a sports medicine physician providing care and game coverage for the University of Arkansas Razorbacks. He is also involved in taking care of local high schools and reaching out to the community to give evidence-based sports medicine lectures. His focus encompasses comprehensive sports medicine care including muscle, tendon and bone injuries, as well as concussions and sports optimization.

Dr. Wagner has a special interest in regenerative medicine and healing injuries naturally through your own body's cells and growth factors. While in his fellowship training, he trained with national experts in regenerative medicine and office based ultrasound procedures that can heal injuries without surgery. At Advanced Orthopaedic Specialists, Dr. Wagner has developed cell-based therapy protocols customized for injuries and degeneration, such as osteoarthritis.

  • He has provided sports medicine care and game coverage for the New York Jets, Seton Hall University, Montclair State University, College of St. Elizabeth, New Jersey Jackals Baseball, Skyland Kings Hockey, and numerous high schools.
  • While at Miami University Dr. Wagner met his wife, Hailey. 
  • They reside in Fayetteville with their son, Brooks, and English bulldog named Snacks.
